Description

Wow, the Son Of Cobra Round Twin looks so good, it's stunning piece of art masquerading as a surfboard! If you spend anytime in the sea recently you will have seen that the classic twin design is going through a massive resurgence. Its quickly becoming a worth while addition to any surfers quiver.

This is a performance twin fin inspired by the classic Mark Richards twin fins which were custom foiled to maximize drive, speed, and hold through steep sections of the wave. This works in tandem with a deep double concave that has its deepest point in the concave closest to the rail line. This is clever, it elongates the apex of the double concave's spine into a bell shaped curve that gives more drive, more speed and more performance. This deep concave builds in additional tail rocker which gives the board excellent release into turns, this is a twinny that will go vertical. Surf the Round Pin Twin off the tail or take a step forward to take advantage of the model's high volume mid-section. The low entry rocker and beak making it an optimal sled for trimming forward to pump or build speed before approaching an open face or end section and laying down your best hack. The signature Son of Cobra Futures twin fin set is the way to go with this stunning board.

The finish on the Round Twin is stunning with a stunning resin tint, beautiful dark wood cedar stringer and Son Of Cobra embossed branding. Paul Lefevre, head craftsman and shaper at Son of Cobra has an undeniable talent for producing amazing hand-crafted unique surfboards.
