The Harley Ingleby Series of surfboard shaped by Billy Tolhurst is designed with Thunderbolt Technologies. Thunderbolt technologies utilizes advanced materials and a proprietary construction technique that decrease weight whilst hugely improving performance, flex and control all designed to make surfing one these boards better than ever.

Harley needs little introduction having ridden to the 2009 and 2014 ASP World Longboard Titles and still surfs to the highest level.

The production process leaves nothing to chance, every aspect of the build is incredibly closely monitored to ensure the best possible quality. It all starts with a stringerless epoxy blank which is then laid up with AVT carbon strips top and bottom to give the board its unique flex pattern, once laminated and it is good to go.

This unique technology holds the energy generated and then releases this stored energy through the board and fin to give an amazingly fast and highly responsive surf. Firewire surfboards agreed so much they decided to buy the company! Harley’s Thunderbolt range includes his favourite signature models, and there is one new model we’re excited about called the MOE, a mid-length, an easy ride and good paddling board, with good stability and support. This area is growing fast and this tech will really add to the offering in this part of the market.
