Son Of Cobra Surfboards

Son of Cobra surfboards is the brain-child of Paul Lefèvre. Paul used to be one half of the gloriously named Lucky Bastards, surfboard artists who made their way round the Basque country and then to Cali with their irreverent take on the surfing world.

Time passed and the boys split with Paul going on to found Son of Cobra surfboards and working closely with old friends including the Pukas legends from the Olatu factory in the Basque country where it all began. Son of Cobra has gone to collect admirers from around the globe, we’re amongst those admirers and are stoked to partner up with Paul.

The key difference between this surfboard company and others is the attention to details, innovative features such as double stringers and the finish, the finish is something to behold, very few shapers get near it. The range of boards under the Cobra brand runs from the trademark Round Twin through the mid length to the Noserider longboard. There are vague hints of SoCal in these surfboard shapes but the most important thing is the surf well, really well, the amazing finish is a bonus.
