Drawing on over 35 years of Japanese craftsmanship from the artisans at Axxe, Vissla have collaborated to create a 100% Handmade wetsuit sporting a signature V-Zip entry – a revolutionary chest zip design that is drastically easier to get on and off and significantly reduces water flushing. The V-Zip Entry combined with buttery soft, stretch Neoprene creates a wetsuit that provides unmatched warmth and ultimate flexibility. Ian here was given a version to test at the start of last Summer and has been raving about it, only swapped to a Winter suit in December! Once you've wear on of these wetsuits you won't be going back to anything you've worn before.

The New Seas V Zip range feaqtures 100% Premium Proprietary Neoprene, its best foam/jersey combo in the world. Each wetsuit is 100% handcrafted these suits use Premium Thermo BLACK which is the best winter heat insulating material. Premium Black generates heat as the material stretches and compresses during normal movements. The material also absorbs and retains far-infrared rays emitted from the body allowing for supplementary heat storage (we know, sounds a bit mad!). One of the best features, especially for winter wetsuit is the incredible drying time, far quicker than anything else we've seen, all achieved by arranging the thickness and arrangement of the threads that form the brush in a certain way.

The V Zip Entry does look a bit odd but take it from us it works; it increases the range of motion with minimal layers around neck and shoulder region thus making it much easier to paddle in, makes the suit easier to get on and off than any other chest zip on the market, totally seals the entry shoulder to shoulder to minimise flushing. The Anatomically engineered 3D body paneling makes for an amazing fit too.

These wetsuits are Triple glued and have blind stitched seams, they are premium stretch taped lower body and torso and feature a Glide Skin Neck and cuff seals. The Axxetech Kneepads are abrasion resistant but not stiff so great for flexibility and strength. The New Seas V Zip series only uses premium materials and the very latest engineering techniques and really does raise the bar for the whole industry.
