The Takayama Humu Fish is all new and old at the same time, a classic Fish shape updated to meet the demands of the modern surfer.

A classic Fish shape that delivers speed in all conditions and great paddle skills as you would expect but it also has the ability to turn way tighter than you might expect. It makes vertical snaps and precision surfing totally possible. If you want a board to deliver speed, a high wave count and performance too all in a twin fin set up then this is the board for you.

The Humu Fish has a thinned out tail to give extra performance, it keeps the volume where you need it under your chest for paddle power and glide whilst up and surfing. It has a fullish nose and medium rocker front and back, the rails are full but not boxy, a classic concave set up brings a great mix of flow, speed and fun!

Donald Takayama worked alongside Surftech/TufLite for some 20 years before he died in 2012. This close relationship was built on trust, respect and a commitment to deliver a quality product which remained faithful to Donald's original designs. This Tuflite V-Tech construction is tough (as the name implies!) and it delivers great flex and performance. The awesome TufLite V-Tech construction delivers the perfect blend of durability and lightweight performance to a myriad of different surfboard models from longboards to performance shortboards. Top quality closed cell EPS foam core wrapped in epoxy and fibreglass, this composite sandwich construction is absolutely cutting edge and delivers the perfect combination of high-performance and durability.
