Description

The Surfworx Ribeye Mini Mal soft surfboard package comes with fins and a leash + a good quality padded boardbag and a bar of wax. This is without doubt one of the best starter surfboards available; beautifully finished with a stable and forgiving outline to get you up and riding from day one!

The Ribeye Mini Mal is constructed with a High Density Closed Cell foam Core which means the boards are nice and lightweight, and should you be unlucky enough to damage the outer skin the board won't soak up water and become waterlogged and un-surfable. Double resin coated, laminated wooden stringers run the length of the board helping it maintain its shape and perform like a good quality "hard" surfboard. The slick bottom has an integrated mesh membrane which adds durability and improved performance on the wave. The High Density deck skin is very durable and will keep the Ribeye Hybrid performing for years.

The Surfworx 8ft 0 Ribeye Mini Mal has a three fin set which is a real step-up from the normal 'push through the deck' soft fins normally supplied on foamies and this system is compatible with FCS twin tab fins so you can upgrade or utilize your own fins should you wish to experiment with different fins.

The Ribeye Mini Mal is a brilliant option for a broad range of ages and abilities, from larger kids and teens at the beginning of their surfing career to first time adults looking to kick-off their surfing adventure.

The Ribeye Mini Mal has a forgiving and stable outline with plenty of volume and float to get you popping to your feet and riding your first waves on your very first foray. This board certainly was slightly more challenging than some of the boards I have rented before, I would say it is slightly narrower making balancing a little trickier. It's taken a couple of sessions to get accustomed but the perseverance was worth it! This is the first board I have ever owned and I'm extremely happy with it.
