As surfers we've all dreamed about owning a high performance surfboard with all the positive attributes of a traditional PU board but with none of the inherent fragility that comes with this construction.

The Lost Pisces delivers more speed, more precision, and more fun. Over time, an almost completely new species of fish has evolved. The evolution of the performance fish is all about improving precision in how the board surfs. Turn tighter in the pocket, carve more vertically on the face, and still carry speed across flatter sections. The “PISCES” represents Matt Biolos's vision of the fish as an all-around performance board, Bad waves, good waves, mid-level surfers, elite pros and every wave and everyone in between. Thatys quite a claim, but it seems like it might be true!

The key features are a more pulled in nose, with added rocker up front and flatter between the feet. A deep concave through the mid-section and increased curve through the rail-line rocker, under the rear foot. A mellow wing, aligned to work with the front fins to give you more pivot for turns. Thgere are five fin boxes for multiple options - Quad, Twin+2, Twin+1, straight Twin, a Thruster too. There is more vee to the swallow tips and a scooped-out deckline in the tail that more closely mirrors the bottom curve and brings improved pocket control. These adjustments deliver a board that raises the level of precision and maneuoverability without sacrifinging speed and stability. In our humble opionion he's prett much nailed it!

The construction process uses a Nitrogen cell Foam (25-40% recycled content) core for maximum strength and pop. The foam is closed cell, completely waterproof and won't absorb water.
Hexzylon Fibre Foam Skin, this is a smooth, strong, impact and ding resistant layer with the signature Hex pattern.
Next comes the unique Woven Basalt Fibre which is additive free super strong and resists heel dents.
The Bio-Matrix Resin is super strong and environmentally friendly with the best flex qualities of traditional PU and a longer lifespan than Epoxy.

Lib Tech surfboards are fitted with Hammer boxes, the lightest and toughest fin boxes on the market. Even the leash plug has been given the same attention with 6061 T6 Aircraft aluminium pins and lightweight fibre composite cups.
