Description

The FCS II Split Keel Quad Fin set.

This is Matt's Biolos's magic quad template designed to add bite and control to modern hybrid surfboards with wide tails and low to moderate rocker, without reducing the pivoting and snappy turning capabilities.

This is a great fin set for point and reef-break waves and excels in open face and down-the-line waves.

The MB Split Keel Quad fins are constructed from Performance Glass; (PG) which has an almost identical flex pattern to traditional fibreglass fins, with a stiff base and a responsive tip flex.

Great fins, just need ignore the price tag....
Bought these fins for my Mini Simmons, great fins!! Really happy I tried them as different option to my keels. The splits definitely gave the board a bit more squirt in the turns and more control/pivot for such a big wide tailed board, bottom turns were easier and felt more natural, what was an already fun board is now on another level, just buy em! Would be amazing if a few quid cheaper but to be fair I have already forgotten about the money spent after only one session

But very sharp, much sharper than ni thrusters
Sand the sharpest edges down
It sucks to get stitches when you are travelling. I have to stay out of the water for a week now when I m in Indo.
The same thing happened to s friend in costa rica with these fins

Just sand them down and you will have really good fins

Split keel!
On the advice from Ian at the boardshop , I gave these fins a go on the 5.9 chumlee...it's hard to explain how well these fins grip and are still loose at the same time. They also help produce more speed which brings the board even more into life! There expensive! but well well worth the investment!
