The FCS II Britt Merrick Performance Glass Twin fin set sits somewhere between a keel and an upright twin. It's designed to give more security in your turns without inhibiting speed generation, kind of the best of both worlds with a twin set up. It's a big old fin, the biggest in the FCS range but it definitely doesn't hold back your turns, if anything it feels like it gives more squirt out of your turns. Britt Merrick has enlisted the help of Mikey February and even Tom Curren in developing this fin, needless to say their input has been essential. This fin is perfect for the CI Twin Pin, or Mid Twin in particular helping these two boards to be surfed more aggressively without fear of sliding out. The PG material offers a solid feel, further adding to the predictability of this twin set, think smooth flowing arcs with just enough pivot to make it feel like you're riding a twin. This template is highly swept back and has a long leading edge that leads to a full rounded tip, this twin set will feel really secure when laying into a longer turn or driving hard off the bottom, something that's not typically associated with twin fins. FCS recommend the Britt Merrick Twin fins for pretty much any twin, we've tried it in a couple of Album boards as well as the CI Mid Twin its surfs really well.
