The Wayne Rich Checkmate Longboard may well be the performance longboard you've been looking for but never found. Medium entry and exit rocker, a great rail game and template means its quick off the bottom, fast and nimble rail to rail, and turns like no other board out there. The timeless bottom contour rolls into a classic 60/40 rail set up, this means the board noses rides and flows beautifully. There is a hard edge as you move to the tail which gives control and turning ability. There is a light concave through the nose and the front third of the board which gives the lift and stability to making hanging 10 a cinch.

This NFT (Natural Fibre Tech) tech version is a combo or naturally derived fibres and E glass which are vacuum bagged under pressure to maximise the bond and strength giving an incredible weight to strength ratio. The Natural Fibres replace a lot of the fibreglass that would normally be used but the big bonus is that the dampening it gives is second to none which means a brilliant responsive ride.

Fin wise use a 9" in the 9' 2 and a 9.5" in the 9' 6. Use a fin with some sweep and a thinner tip to deliver the power this board demands.
