The Pukas Magnetic is beautifully crafted to combine simple lines of alternative surf craft into a surfboard that will flow in a variety of surf conditions for different surf styles.

The Pukas Magnetic surfboard has a super smooth outline nose to tail with a low rocker throughout. Board has a bit of flip in the tail rocker that works brilliantly, with the twin fin cluster, to deliver a loose and easily manoeuvrable tail for quick turns and direction changes. The bottom features a combination of concaves and a v-bottom, ensuring clean smooth surfing, little beak in the nose hides a bit of volume for instant momentum and speed both paddling and catching waves. The board just cuts through chop and imperfections in the wave face with ease, and fly’s effortlessly in smooth surf.

At Boardshop we have been lucky enough to get our hands on a 6ft 8. You may have seen clips of Spanish free surf legend Kepa Acero testing the Magnetic in a massive variety of conditions from dreamy little right handers, in the Maldives, to double overhead thumping Munda. Then the real everyday surfers test - we have surfed the Magnetic in everything we can throw at it. Works remarkably well in knee to waist high point surf, brilliant wave count in everyday beach break conditions, and holds amazingly in big challenging conditions. Really looking forward to step up surf and big winter swells on this board. We surfed this with an upright twin fin template and it felt incredible.
