Built with Luke Hart’s usual design wizardry, the Nuggy features a flat rocker, forward wide point, a full but refined outline, and a pulled-in tail for control. Single to double concaves and a touch of vee out the tail help it go rail to rail with ease. I liked the look of this as soon as i saw a review online. Amazing finish and super light in the epoxy construction. With its lower rocker this boards paddles really well, but then of the tail it surfs like a dream. It'll cruise, depending on how you size it to your weight, but then when a section shows itself, this thing can turn. Had some form boards before and wanted to support a UK shaper. I was drawn to that almost shortboard tail, thinking that some other options, the tails looked wider and less performancy. So if you want more performance in a small wave board, this is a solid choice. Carries so much speed as a 2 + 1 and quad, i'm actually thinking a thruster would be good (not tried yet), just to add some control...
