The latest Channel Islands addition to the Al Merrick surfboard range, allow us to introduce the Solution. It may well be the solution to your small or weaker wave issues!

The Solution is a groveler with more than you get from the standard groveler; its loaded with paddle power, got lots of glide and works in a decent wave range in all conditions no matter how poor. The pleasingly curved outline and round tail deliver drive through flatter sections and really help to carry speed. The single to double concave helps the board to release into turns so it feels more lively than it should do. The rocker/outline combo is different to what Britt Merrick has done before, it gives speed with responsive surfing, this is not a longboard substitute its a lot more fun! The 5 fin set up gives a whole world of options, set up as a thruster for pivoty back foot surfing if there are decent sections to attack, a quad gives you speed and a 2 + 1 offers twinny speed with heaps of flow.

If you're looking for a small/weaker wave board and you don't want to go for a mid length or longer the Solution is a strong option to consider. Its really hard to get the balance of paddle power and glide for small waves whilst still offering the ability to get the board on a rail and drive through turns, Britt has nailed it with the Solution.
