Great service & advice as always!
After chatting to Charlie about mid-lengths decided on the M23 custom in 6’ 3” being a smaller rider looking for easy paddle in without losing on turn ability. The board looks sweet in red and can’t wait to try it on the water when the surf returns! Always buy my boards from Boardshop as their enthusiasm & knowledge mean they’re happy to talk everything through to provide your next dream board.

Great friendly customer service .
Ordered custom CI M23 board as the 6'6 was not in stock , after a few weeks the board came back into stock , rang and asked if I could have the stock board rather than waiting for my order to come in, new board was with me 24 hrs later , great customer service . Not ridden board yet , wave gods up to there usually tricks as soon as they know you have a new board , lol,

Excellent
Had this in Spine tek 7'0 brilliantly packaged as usual. A combination of the new board flatness curse and an old knee injury kept me out for a few weeks upon delivery but finally got the board in yesterday evening, first impression it paddles superbly with all that thickness under your chest. The sesh was 1-3ft strong offshore and clean, the board allows you to paddle in early and is super fast and neutral under the feet, early days yet but i feel it will be a cracker overall, frothing to surf it more, thanks to Ian and the crew i had a seamless purchase that involved a part/ex board and a fair bit of surf banter! Cheers.

Great board and advice
Having had a few years out of the water I needed a board to get me up and catching waves again. Ian was happy to provide some great advice and board recommendations. Needless to say I was up on this board from the off. Excellent service!

Board arrived inside specified time.
Board was well packaged and undamaged. Lovely finished as well shaped as expected. Unable to test it as yet due to recovering from skiing mishap in Austria.

Awesome step-up board
Having been riding a 7'8 Torq Mod Fun V+ since learning to surf last year, I was at a stage were I was wanting something a bit more lively that I could turn harder and generate a bit more speed from. As always, I dropped Matt a line and he recommended the M23 for me. I was a little nervous about the jump down in length from 7'8 to 6'10, plus the drop in volume from 64l to 43l, but I put my faith in Matt's advice and pulled the trigger. I gave the board it's first outing this week at The Wave (advanced wave) and it was truly awesome. I barely noticed any difference in paddling compared to my 7'8 and could catch waves just as easy. However, when up, the board felt super quick and I turned so well. I'm amped to get back out on it again now and really start pushing it but for now, I'm fully stoked and give it en easy 5-stars.
