Mikey Feb’s Fish, shaped by Britt Merrick, blends a traditional fish outline with modern performance features to create a board that’s versatile across a range of conditions. Mikey asked for a fish that had the classic shape but with updated elements like modern bottom contours, rocker, and finely foiled rails for maximum performance. During testing, Mikey found it performed equally well in powerful waves, like Mexico’s tubes and Rincon’s long walls, as well as in smaller, less powerful conditions, making it a staple in his travel quiver. With a balance of speed, control, and maneuverability, the Febs Fish has become his go-to board for both high-performance and relaxed surfing. For reference, Mikey, who is 6’3” and 75kg, rides the 5’5” model.
