The Phantom can be used by surfers of differing abilities, it just depends how it’s sized. A decent shortboard surfer will look for the perfect balance of length and volume; for example - a 70kg 6’ rider should look at the 5’11 or 6’0, roughly 30 to 33 litres to get the best from the board and their skill set.An intermediate surfer may need to add a little length and a couple of litres volume for a more comfortable and forgiving everyday shortboard.

The Phantom is designed and works best as a thruster, delivering control and consistency. This setup allows the board to perform in a wide range of conditions.
