Description

The Mad Cow redefines the high-performance shortboard with a focus on accessibility and fun. Axel designed it to make surfing radical shapes easier, keeping the performance while adding just enough forgiveness. Extra foam under the chest makes paddling and wave catching less punishing, but once you’re up, the board still goes vertical, carves hard, and accelerates through critical sections. The bottom contour runs a deep single concave for speed and lift, transitioning into a vee through the tail for smooth rail-to-rail transitions. A funky single channel at the tail adds grip and control, giving you the confidence to push harder and throw bigger sprays. The lowered tail rocker keeps speed flowing in flatter sections, while the thinner tail ensures bite and hold on steeper faces. Whether you’re tackling average beach breaks or something more powerful, the Mad Cow lets you ride progressive designs without compromise.
