We have one main aim which is for Boardshop to be the biggest and best online board sports store on the planet! We are working around the clock to bring you all the latest surf, skate, and snow product available.
The team behind Boardshop all surf, snowboard, (the younger ones still skate). We also own www.hardcloud.com and have all been involved in running websites for the last 10 years so we all have a pretty clear idea of what is needed. Customer service is important to everyone so rest assured we will break our backs to sort problems, answer emails, make sure you get your stuff on time etc.
If you want advice on a new surf board, have any Boardshop questions, or just want to tell us what you want to see on our site! Please contact us. We will answer every e-mail.
Anyway, here's the dream team...
Ian Madden (Big E)
12 years experience in surf/skate/snow retail. Founder of the first proper action sports website... got bored. Surfs (badly), wakeboards (less badly), and used to skate Southsea in the days of the Abrooks. Likes holidays in hot places.
Athletic (skinny), nose 80% of total body weight, funny (yeah right).
Roger Moon (Scrawn)
10 years abusing computers, 5 years in the surf/skate trade. Founded the first proper action sports website with Ian a few years ago, now seeks new challenge! Surfs a lot (poo stance), hates snow!
Funny, has upgraded to a house with stairs, is worried about hair loss.
Clive Milverton (Lofty)
Likes going naked fishing with his brother, surfing, mountain biking, motorbikes and birds (feathered variety). Hard working and conscientious he is a solid fixture in the team.
Doesn't like dwarf jokes, immensely strong despite his short legs.
James Clarke (Cleatus)
Graphics supremo James is American and head of all things GFX. He talks about trash cans, gas stations, dumpsters and gridiron. He's also the most tattooed person in East Wittering. Family man James also models stuff for us and various 'special interest' magazines.
You'd cross the street if you saw him coming!
Ben Richards (Ben 10)
Graphics monkey Ben likes Rihanna and sugar, both in large quantities. Wants to be Rob Dyrdek's best friend, and still looking for his own BB, but keeps on finding BBW.
Has a few tattoos, but has a long way to catch up with James.
Tim Barden (Wurzel)
Tim is from Devon. When he's not putting graphics together you'll likely find him either eating pasties, drinking cider, chewing straw, or eyeing up combine harvesters across the fields.
Mike Norris (Amazon)
In charge of our Amazon storefront. With a longer wingspan than a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, Amazon Mike is a semi-professional ten-pin bowler. Soon to be married ...
Distant third cousin, once removed, to Chuck Norris.
Claims to like fast cars, but drives his sister's Yaris, Nick is one of our customer service chaps here at Boardshop.
Does stuff downstairs with Lee ...
Lee is the newest member of the customer service dept at Boardshop HQ. An amateur filmaker, and a lavender belt in origami, we're sure he's got more dark secrets that will be exposed as time goes on!
Does stuff downstairs with Nick ...
The Chef used to cook stuff, now he does warehouse things. He used to have the most incredible hair in Europe but now has none at all. Hobbies listed only as smoking.
The Mr Benn of the warehouse world. Has the coolest bike.
The only girl at Boardshop HQ, she swears worse than a sailor, and can be found in marshland searching for her dinner. You can hear her laughing all the way from Chichester, so no need to phone her.
Inspects everyone's lunch.
Kristian Massy-Collier (Red)
Warehouse boy Red is an absolute car nut, and is always tinkering/breaking his classic Mini. He's also fond of dog food. Biscuits in particular.
Drives a hairdresser's car, warehouse chap Sam likes a good kickabout on the field in the Boardshop football match. Owes Amazon Mike a DVD back.
Possibly dislikes Lee Mack.
Web nerd Andy's achievements include building the Boardshop website and also being the south coast Zumba champion. You'll usually find him at the back of the office stuck between a couple of divs.
He likes it hot and black (tea that is).
Big E's pet dog Rollie likes a good sleep on the office sofa, and will occasionally wake for a good floor scratch. He might have arthritis, but he still likes to go down for a boogie at Liquid on a Saturday night.
He's a dog. He barks occasionally.
