Description

The Torq Mod Fun surfboard 7ft 2 in the classic White with pinline detail for the coming summer season.

The Swiss army knife of the Torq quiver, the 7ft 2 Mod Fun can do it all and will work for a wide range of abilities and sizes.

The board features a medium full nose and shallow mid-entry rocker and there is plenty of volume for smaller mushier waves. When the surf gets bigger the Mod Fun can handle it; just plant your back foot above the fins and the board takes on a whole new persona. It couldn't be further from a mini-mal, the Mod Fun delivers performance in bucket loads! The Mod Fun has a traditional three fin thruster set-up and comes with a set of Futures fins.

Torq Surfboards are constructed using the most up-to-date Epoxy Technology, using the latest EPS Epoxy Materials. The lightweight EPS Core is combined with Biaxial fibreglass cloth, Epoxy resin and Torq's unique Shield Skin. Constructed in the most advanced mould on the planet, creating the most perfect production every time.

This unique combination of advanced materials and high-tech construction produces a board that performs at the very highest level, offering lightweight shapes with a responsive flex (missing on some cheaper Epoxy boards) but also makes for a really durable and strong surfboard. Perfect for a first hardboard
This board was the first hardboard I've purchased, and from the first surf out it was absolutely perfect. It was super easy to paddle out with, and catches waves like a dream. Super stable and allows you to get on more greenies consistently! This is the perfect board for someone of my build (5'8, 75kg) and ability (surfed inconsistently for around 2.5 years), and I'm stoked to surf it again as soon as possible!!

This board is perfect for the beginner/intermediate surfer. If you’re looking to step up from a foam board and add some manoeuvrability this does the job.
Seems to be quite sturdy but lightweight and came with leash, fins and wax so ready to go. Can’t wait to try this out more

Excellent board
After some lessons on a foamie I wanted to step up and buy a board that I could progress on, would last me a few years and could fit in my car. After lots of research I plumped for the Torq V+ as I rented a Torq 7’2” and found it too unstable (70kg male). I’m so glad I went for the 7’4”. It has enough stability for me to stand up but there’s plenty of scope for progression in my skills still. The propulsion is fantastic. The kit it came with was great (leash) and super handy (bag). The delivery was fast although I would have liked a two hour time slot on the day. Very happy.
