Description

The Takayama DT-2 is the most versatile longboard to come from the DT stable. Beautifully constructed from Surftech's TufLite-PC epoxy with a single fin + side bite setup for tuneable surfing. The DT-2 is Donald's best all-rounder with more emphasis on 'nose-riding' than the DT-1.

The DT-2 is no 'one trick pony', it has the ability to turn on the tail, trim and noseride, in fact it would make a great one-board-quiver for the longboarder looking to keep things simple or travel light.

Donald Takayama worked alongside Surftech/TufLite for some 20 years before he died in 2012. This close relationship was built on trust, respect and a commitment to deliver a quality product which remained faithful to Donald's original designs.

The awesome TufLite-PC construction delivers the perfect blend of durability and lightweight performance to a myriad of different surfboard models from longboards to performance shortboards. Top quality EPS foam core wrapped in epoxy and fibreglass, this composite sandwich construction is absolutely cutting edge and delivers the perfect combination of high-performance and durability.

TufLite surfboards are faithful to the original PU shapes, "signed off" by the original shapers and immaculately finished.
