The Pegaso has a few tricks up it's sleeve and is way more than a 'cruisy' twin fin. A Christenson team rider favourite, the Pegaso encourages a more vertical approach to surfing and while it still has that 'fast n fun' twinnie feel it has a lot more composure in better waves and can be snapped around in the critical part of the wave.

What's not to like..you're getting a fast twin fin which can be surfed aggressively in the pocket and still has that awesome glide and drive synonymous with twinnies.

The Pegaso is a twin fin for modern times, a magic little board that you can take on your travels or use at home. Blistering speed and surprising performance in anything from knee high to well overhead conditions.

Chris suggests ordering your Pegaso 3-4 inches longer than your regular Fish and 3-4 inches shorter than your daily driver or performance shortboard.

Chris Christenson was born and raised in Southern California and when he wasn't surfing the local beachies between Seal Beach and Newport Beach he was probably up to his knees in fresh powder at his grandparents cabin in the mountains. Chris lists motorcycles, golf, live music and fishing as his other muses, but his true vocation was shaping surfboards which was influenced by his then neighbour Skip Frye and began with a 6 year apprenticeship with the legendary shaper Dick Brewer. Chris has an unmatched reputation for his ability to shape all types of surfboard; from big wave Guns to longboards, performance shortboards and of course Fish. Brad Gerlach, Greg Long, Rusty Long, the Walsh brothers have ridden his Guns at some of the most demanding waves and surfers Scotty Stopnik and Sterling Spencer have ridden his longboards and shortboards respectively.

We regard this as a bit of a coup to stock Christenson surfboards adding another premium and world renowned brand to our portfolio.
