Description

The Channel Islands Dane Reynolds signature Flat Two Piece surfboard tail pad.

Nice clean looking two-piece deck pad designed and constructed with input from the man himself. Your back foot is where you apply the most pressure when surfing, and there is nothing worse than an ill timed slip when trying to hack harder than your buddies. Make sure your board is completely free of wax before applying your tail pad. Draw round it with a pencil before you remove the backing, as you won't be able to adjust it once you apply it! Once you've stuck it in place use a something round like a rolling-pin to evenly apply a little pressure all over.

Super stylish tail pad that works. I like mine flat like this one, as I feel that a heel arch can be great at the perfect time, but more often makes you feel just a little separate to your board.

Great tail pads, no arch!
I’ve bought a few of these tailpads over the last couple years, for two reasons- they are completely flat, and they have a great no-fuss design. Arch pads are good, if you get your back foot in exactly the right place every time, if you don’t then you end up with the arch under the ball of your foot, or your heel, which is super annoying. These Dane pads are just a great no frills pad and if you choose the right colour can look awesome on your board too.
