Bradley Mr Bean surfboard 6ft 10 FCS II - White
So who is the Mr Bean for? Well pretty much anybody who isn't blessed with punchy peeling waves, or anyone who doesn't get to surf as often as they'd like. If your family and career have curtailed your water-time and you've got a few more miles on the clock and some extra timber around the waistline...the Mr Bean will serve you very well indeed. Of course the Mr Bean (if sized right) is a brilliant option for the improving surfer looking for their first "shortboard" after cutting their teeth on a funboard or mini-mal.
The Mr Bean has a very forgiving outline with width under the chest and nose for early wave entry and the rounded pintail assists smooth transitions and still offers some hold in steeper waves. The bottom contours and volume distribution result in a large "sweet spot" so the board can be ridden from pretty much anywhere your feet land! Christiaan (Bradley) says the Mr Bean is perfect for the surfer who struggles to get their feet in the right place before the wave fizzles out, in fact even with a fairly central stance the Mr Bean just goes from the off!
If your looking for an easy to paddle, stable surfboard which catches heaps of waves, a board that'll help you compete with the longboarders, a board that can make the most of weak and mushy waves and can still perform on those all too rare clean head-high days...you've found it.
Christiaan Bradley began his career sanding surfboards on the Gold Coast. He quickly became a master sander and took his skills on a European tour where he landed the job of Ghost shaper for Channel Islands surfboards for Europe! Christiaan's job put him in contact with the CI team and a certain Mr K Slater. This environment along with his other mentor, Simon Anderson sent his shaping skills skyward and it was soon obvious that he ought to be shaping under his own name...Bradley Surfboards was born.
If we don't have the Bradley surfboard you're looking for, or the stock dims don't work for you, just give us a ring on (44) 01243 674250 or email email@example.com and we'll happily discuss a custom order for you.
The guys at Boardshop are absolutely buzzing to be stocking Christiaan's shapes and would happily consider taking your old or unwanted surfboard as a trade-in against a new Bradley surfboard.

Catches waves literally as well as most mini-mals, still duckdives despite the big wide nose and rides like a shortboard in practically anything the south coast chucks at us. I put carver quads on mine and it flies fast n loose, keeping up with sections and so manoeuvrable. Big sweet spot makes it ideal for beginners or long-board step-down. Can't recommend it enough, and quite a talking point too as not many people know about this little gem, which I think is a great alternative to big name boards like the Greedy Beaver, Average Joe, Puddle Fish/jumper etc.
I love my Black & White 7,4 performance mini-mal in our Brighton mush but have hardly used it since acquiring the Superbean!
