The Bradley surfboard range kicks off at Boardshop with 5 models which we believe are the equal to any other boards out there in that particular category.

Bradley Surfboards are the brain child of Australian shaper extraordinaire Christiaan Bradley, working out of the Euroglass factory in Hossegor he has now established the brand as one of the global leaders in board design and development. Bradley now boasts a host of surfers on the world tour, the WSL, with the latest addition Leo Fioravanti leading the charge. Bradley surfboards cater for all levels of surfing from full on grovelers to the highest of high performance shortboards. The LC6  Gladiator is a great example of new tech, its Bradleys take on epoxy, you’ll be seeing a lot more about this board very soon.

We’ve been looking for a new surfboard supplier to compliment our existing range of surfboards and, after long conversations and a bit of wrangling we’ve super stoked to be working with Bradley and the boys at Euroglass.

Custom orders are available too, turn around time is around 4-5 weeks, and don’t forget you can trade in your old board against a new Bradley, or even buy one on 0% finance.

The New Barcelona is a traditional groveler, the Mosselman is a groveler type board with a pulled in round tail to give a little extra performance, a good one board quiver for most surfers. The Chocolatine has more performance again and is a brilliant option as one board travel quiver. The Thing is a more specific board, designed for more performance in small to medium waves, whilst the Roman is the high performance option.

The Bradley New Barcelona surfboard

Thinking of a summer board or just a board to maximise wave count then the New Barcelona is a great option. Short, wide stubby and flat it catches everything but generates a surprising amount of speed, a straight rail line and double concave generates lift and speed. Relatively standard volume for a groveler the 5’ 6 comes in at 32.85 litres, thinking of a Lost Puddle Jumper or a Firewire Baked Potato then do give this board a decent look, it might surprise you.

The Bradley Mosselman surfboard

We like to think of this board as a groveler plus, it’s a brilliant small wave board, not quite as good as the New Barcelona in terms of marginal conditions but has a bit of added zip and performance for when that good set comes through or conditions improve. It’ll deal with bigger waves, a bit overhead way better with that rounded tail, the wide forward point flat rocker and fuller nose mean you won’t miss out on slacker waves either. If you don’t get to surf anything overhead and want one board to help you push your surfing this is it.

The Bradley Chocolatine surfboard

More performance again, less volume and more nose rocker, a beefed up performance shortboard that would make the ideal travel companion. Straightened rails and double concave give it great down the line speed whilst the wide point means you won’t miss out on days when its less than perfect. Really like this board, its descended from the Bradley Pie which was one of their best selling boards ever.

The Bradley Thing surfboard

A small wave performance board that loves the pocket. This board kind of fits into the wave really well if you know what we mean! A curvy outline with a single to double concave and flat out of the tail gives it rail to rail performance to match any board, it still works in bigger stuff too but it’s really at home in those French style beachies that zip along with power and shape.

The Bradley Roman surfboard

Maybe not relevant to so many surfers but this board is a beauty if you want a high performance shortboard to deal with serious waves in all sizes. Leo Fioravanti’s signature model and sure to be under his feet this year at some time on the WSL. Still packs a bit of volume, Leo’s a big guy, but loose and fast and a very responsive board. There’s a board test video out on the web somewhere of Nic Von Rupp surfing this board, worth a look it flies!

The million dollar question! Bradley might not be as high profile as some other board brands but we’re pretty sure that won’t be the case for long. If you do buy a Bradley you know it's shaped by the man himself, Christiaan Bradley, not a ghost shaper. You are benefiting from his years of shaping experience and his intimate knowledge of the boards he shaping, he’s designed them after all. The quality of the boards finish is as good as we’ve seen from anyone, the attention to detail is outstanding.

Finally, the actual boards themselves work, we’ve tested them, the quality of the team speaks for itself...invest now, you won’t regret it!
