Mens wetsuit, Mens Wetsuits

The mens wetsuit is advancing very quickly with more exciting and revolutionary developments every year. The wetsuits market is highly competitive and surf team riders constantly demand more from the suits they wear. Mens wetsuits have advanced so much that many of the top professionals around the world when surfing at cold locations, for example J-Bay in South Africa still wear thinner suits for competition. A more flexible thinner mens wetsuit allows the rider to move in a way that they still would in a pair of shorts or the warm waters of their home breaks. Wetsuits are constantly refined to try and maximise warmth and manoeuvrability.

Wetsuits for men have developed now to a level where the neoprene can be stretched to more than three times its original length. Not only are the wet suits more flexible but using specialist rubbers and glues the suits now offer even less seam water entry. The result of less water moving through a mens wetsuit is less flush and therefore the warm water is retained better keeping the rider at the correct temperature for longer. Even more recently we have also seen the development of back heat belts incorporated within the mens wetsuit itself. The wetsuit size guides available on every mens wetsuit are highly accurate so when looking for a new wet suit, decide how thick you need it to be dependent on the water temperature you intend to use it in and then select your size.
