Beginner Surfboards, Starter Surfboards

If you are new to surfing before you get carried away and click buy on our huge range of beginner surfboards we recommend you head to the nearest beach and book a surf lesson. By taking a surf lesson the instructor will equip you with the necessary skills you need to enjoy your new purchase. Beginner boards are now better than they have ever been, the shapes are designed to aid new riders. Beginner boards are often supplied in a package therefore once your shiny new board arrives simply plug and play. The leash, wax fins and leash are all supplied to get you own into the waves.

Starter surfboards are all designed for beginners however it is important you choose the right board for you, based on your height and weight. If you choose a board that is too small and try and step down too quickly it will affect your ongoing progression. If you are smaller choosing a board that is much bigger can make carrying it around more difficult and also hard to manoeuvre in the water. Choosing a pop out beginner surfboard is normally the best option as these are strong tough and durable plus for a little extra money to can get some graphics added to. The advantage of the BIC and NSP models is they have an excellent resale value. We always advise keeping onto your first board as they last forever and you can keep them in your quiver for small wave days. If you need to sell it on the beginner boards are always popular and easy to sell.
