The Taj Pro Model is built to Taj's exact specifications taken from his favourite 5'11 and 6'0 Firewire surfboards, incorporating the identical rail volumes, bottom contours and increased rocker that is the trademark of his equipment. A lightning fast board with a tight turning radius. The 6'2 version is slightly adjusted to give a heavier surfer the same scaled board that Taj rides.In effect you're getting THE ultimate performance board with the benefit of Taj's R&D and the very latest technology to explode on to the surfboard manufacturing market place. The Taj Pro Models feature Springer Technology. Layered into the dual density core of the board, springers are like a suspension system, providing the optimal amount of flex and drive needed to control the higher speed and heavier torque in larger waves. Like the leaf springs and shock absorbers of a speeding car, Springers work in tandem with the parabolic balsa rails to maintain smooth control through hi-speed turns.The rapid response flex memory in the Future Shapes Technology used in these boards yields great speed through the turns whilst the parabolic rail configuration guarantees 100% return memory for years.

Firewire surfboards feature some very distinct construction traits that set them aside form other boards currently available:

1) parabolic balsa rails
2) dual density EPS and advanced composite core

The parabolic balsa rails flex at the start of a turn storing energy and rebound through the turn releasing built up energy in the form of speed. The spring back of the parabolic rails to the original rocker triggers rapid acceleration, like an arrow shot from a bow. The construction materials, a unique formulation of hi-tech epoxy resins and advanced composites mean that these boards maintain the lively feel you get with brand new polyurethane boards, but are up to 20% lighter and will last 5+ times longer.
