Red Women's Base Layer Shorts are probably the last word in snowboarding/skiing protection and have a women's specific fit. These Base Layer impact shorts would suit the more experienced/intermediate rider who is likely to spend less time on their backside than the 'rooky'. The shorts incorporate the very latest technology in protective clothing for snow-sports. The now legendary d3o Shock Impact Material is installed in the key areas that take the biggest hits. These ergonomic breathable pads (slightly slimmer than in the 'Total Impact Shorts') are located at the hips with a regular foam pad at the tail bone. The shorts are made from a moisture wicking polyester with a boxer short elasticated waist and loop-pulls on the sides for easy-on/easy-off.
