Xcel wetsuits was formed in the early eighties when like all good surf companies the story began from a garage on the wave rich north shore of Hawaii. From this garage on Oahu beach Xcel set out from the early days to repair and replace but quickly they began to design and create high quality wetsuits for surfers. Xcel have made it their mission to make every wetsuit feel like its simply not there, maximum stretch, comfort and flexibility have been there focus since day one. The Xcel Infiniti is the result of over twenty five years of research design and development, this suit is available in a five millimetre mens winter wetsuit and also in a three millimetre form as a summer wetsuit. Only recently this Xcel suit along with its X-Zip was voted the most advanced and innovative wetsuit in the marketplace today, two years running, because of its fewer seams more stretch design. Xcel has continually pushed the other wetsuit brands with revolutionary technologies including bamboo insulation and recycled materials.
Xcel has continued as a popular choice for surfers with its comprehensive wetsuit boots, gloves and hoods line of accessories. Xcel frequently communicates with its riders, friends and team via its Facebook portal which it continually updates with the latest product news and team results. Xcel Wetsuits also holds an annual surfing event called the Xcel Pro at Honolua which pulls together the best surfers in the world to ride in a friendly and strongly contested event on a world famous wave.
